The Mat-Su Kids Chorus is a great opportunity for kids to sing music in a fun way!
We learn to sing rounds, rhythm and in parts using songs with positive messages. Teens will have a chance to make a music video, too!
This ensemble is for readers aged 6-14. Teens older than 14 may join the adult chorus. Concerts will be performed in April and May in conjunction with the adult chorus.
Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings, 7-8pm, at Matsu Evangelical Covenant Church, 5201 E Mayflower Lane, Wasilla. Childcare until 9pm is included for children whose parents are in the adult chorus. Participation is only $80 for the semester and may be eligible for homeschool reimbursement!
Rehearsals for Spring 2024 begin January 11th. New singers can join during the month of January for the spring semester. Please arrive early to register at your first rehearsal. Questions can be directed to matsukidschorus@yahoo.com.
